I’m sure I’m not the only one with this problem. I’m starting to sell IOT devices using MQTT. But in most companies, port 8883 is blocked. So I can either duplicate all my code to use REST API (on devices where storage is already critical), or I could use some port forwarding and use a server that would port-forward from 443 to 8883. The later solution seems the easiest.
Any chance there could be a plan on having an official support of 443 port ?
I’m sure lots of MQTT integrators would be thankful…
