Session ID or session Ticket for TLS connections?

Hi,

Is resuming TLS with session ID’s or Session Tickets are supported for devices with limited bandwidth? If not, is it possible to encrypt device passwords?

Hello Jeff.

You should be able to session resume your TLS connection as we are not disabling them
at server side.

About password encryption, could you detail more your question and what’s the problem
you are attempting to solve?

Thanks for the reply. Im looking for the best way to minimize bandwidth but still achieve reasonable security on our devices. I believe resuming our TLS connections will work, but i have heard that some brokers support password encryption so that we dont need to use TLS. This would reduce our bandwidth requirements.
